Learn More About Cultures Outside of Your Own at HAAPIFEST

The Houston Asian American & Pacific Islander Festival is continuing its tradition of being a celebration of art, film, and music that the Asian American & Pacific Islander community shares each year. This event will showcase 25+ new AAPI shorts and feature films that highlight and celebrate the diversity of AAPI culture, food, and family, to support AAPI artists and filmmakers, and to share the untold AAPI experience for the Greater Houston metropolitan area through edutainment.

Started in 2004 by OCA-Greater Houston, the Houston Asian American Pacific Islander Film Festival, or HAAPIFEST, was created to highlight and celebrate the diversity of AAPI culture, food, and family, to support AAPI artists and filmmakers, and to share the untold AAPI experience for the Greater Houston metropolitan area through edutainment.

Opening night will feature the Houston premiere of Signaure Move, a comedic and heartfelt look at modern families and the complexities of love in its many forms. For a full schedule of events, go to the festival website.

At The Augusta Apartments in Houston, Texas, it is clear that we have it all, but we still feel obliged to inform you of all the events our community has scheduled. Please feel free to join in all of the fun at this event!
